Hi Everyone

I would like to purchase a Lettuce Rabbit plate but I see many different prices. In your professional opinion what should I be paying?

Regards

Angela

Hi Angela  - thanks for your enquiry.

There are a few of them on ebay at the moment and yes they vary in price.

In the past they have gone for over $100 but at the moment anything from $35 upwards

seems to be the "norm" - we can only advise you to check there are no chips, cracks, crazing,

or loss of paint and pay the amount you are happy with.  Taking into consideration the cost of

postage.

Another good idea is to check the completed listings on ebay (wembleyware) and see what they

have sold for.

If you are in Perth I think there is one for sale Gosnells way on facebook.

Good luck - happy collecting and please do not hesitate to contact us if you need any more help.

Thankyou very much for your detailed response. It is much appreciated. I would call myself a Treasure Hunt Collector. I like to scout around for mostly ceramics I.e vases mostly. I like to pay the cheapest possible hoping in many years to come they may increase in value. Wembley Ware has caught my eye and I managed to find 2 large dew fish in excellent condition both for $50 a fan shape vase for $5 and just purchased the rabbit dish for $10. All in great condition. So hopefully am on the right track.

Wow and wow again - that is great!!!  Well done and well scouting...you sure are on the right track and Wembley Ware will

go up in price again.  Good luck with your treasure hunting and please keep us updated with any future finds.  Lee
