Hi,  as far as we know there were eight different club's represented on the wembley footballers.  In the period that wembley was in production (1947 - 1961) there were eight teams in the W.A.F.L.(Western Australia football league) and it is our belief that that is why there is one footballer for each team.  Of course if the team colours match that of the team you support, no matter where in Australia, then it can be argued as to which team they represent.  I have only seen one that is different  and it is a footballer/rugby player dressed in all black, maybe made for the New Zealand market but not freestanding as it was in the middle of an ashtray, same as the boomer kangaroo.
